In 2009, Firriato took a significant step to breathe new life into a traditional housing complex in the Etna region. They renovated an old palmento, which is a type of winepress, and transformed it into a small yet modern winery. This new space is dedicated to processing grapes sourced from their own vineyards, ensuring that both tradition and innovation come together in every bottle of wine they create.
