Opened in December 2012, this luxurious 5-star hotel in Gstaad was built in elegant Swiss Alpine style, featuring natural materials like marble, sandstone and aged wood. The Alpina Gstaad features 4 restaurants and its own cinema. The unique rooms and suites all have balconies with mountain views and marble bathrooms with a flat-screen TV, luxurious toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. Some suites also feature an open fireplace and an iPad for guests to use during their stay. Restaurants include the Megu that serves Japanese cuisine. Guests can enjoy their dinner overlooking the Bernese Alps, and relax in the wine bar or in the Havana-inspired cigar lounge. Special occasions are celebrated in the ballroom. The Six Senses Spa can be used for free by guests and features holistic treatments, an indoor and heated outdoor pool, a fitness room, and a relaxation area.
